Northern California , also known as NorCal, is a much colder and diverse region of California. It is home to the eco-friendly city of San Francisco, ancient forests, and beautiful landscapes. Some notable locations include Napa & Sonoma Valleys, Redwood National Park, Lak Tahoe, and Lassen Volcanic State park. This region is perfect for travellers that want a mix of natural beauty and city adventures. The proximity of San Francisco to national parks mean that you can easily stay in the city and do a day trip to Redwood park!

Central California

Central California is known for its natural beauty and slow vibes. It is perfect for people who want a more relaxing and nature-focused getaway. It is home to one of the most scenic drives in the United States, the Pacific Coast Highway, and has massive natural parks nad vineyards.
